Fall Treasures is a series of original paintings about what autumn gives away. By the end of summer, a tomato plant has given everything to its fruit. The fruit ripens, and the stem that carried it dries and fades. Nature doesn't keep its beauty for itself. It gives it away so that something else can grow – the way parents give their children the best of themselves and their best years, so that they can ripen into a life of their own.
