Gathering Shells on the Shore is the sixth painting of the Summer Series.

Some evenings stay with you. Walking the shoreline with someone you love, the light going gold, the day slowing down. You bend to pick up a shell, not because you need it, but because some part of you still remembers how good it feels to gather small things, to keep a piece of a moment. The warm air, sun-touched skin resting in the last of the light. This painting is about that: the quiet joy that never quite leaves us.
